STJARNA Update

Much larger and extensive work than originally planned.

Upon original pre-release, STJARNA work was supposed to be a single volume of 258 pages (like all previous books, including each installment of the Úlfheimr trilogy, as well as Torfœrit). It was also supposed to be a limited edition of 300 copies.

However, various considerations have led to the work becoming far more extensive, namely 1,000 pages (10K). The limited edition has also been restricted to 117 copies (plus 3 for the National Library of Norway).

This dramatically increased printing costs whether it is a very large single book, or multiple volumes (all to be released at once). It is also unthinkable to print books offshore to reduce costs, and printing books with European materials in Norway and having them hand bound in Norway has a cost…

As a result, cost of updated work has increased to 10,000 kr.

For those who have already pre-ordered smaller/more limited first version of book, the upgrade cost is reduced to 4,000 kr (a saving of 4,000 kr) for a limited time. Prior to release, the upgrade cost will then be reduced to 6,000 kr. Upon release, the upgrade cost will be 8,000 kr.

Electronic Version

The cost electronic version, which doesn’t cost us significantly more to produce, has as a result only increased by 250 kr, to 750 kr for pre-orders and 1,000 kr after release.

This makes the work accessible to all who want it but don’t necessarily have the funds to acquire a highly exclusive limited version produced in the homeland and cradle of our species.

Contractual agreement

We understand a contract was entered with those who pre-ordered first smaller/limited version of the work. We will also be working on a solution for those unwilling to upgrade to the new, larger and more extensive version.
